What we do each day: We drink tea, and lots of it. And we also have the ritual coffee from Cook and Archie's every morning (the only place to get your coffee from).

Oh, and we also do design, illustration and photography. We design brands and identities, marketing and promotional collateral, media placements and websites. We also do high end retouching, illustration, and photography. And we love typography!

What we do each day: We develop and provide ERP system services to the SME market. We recently launched our new SaaS (Software as a Service) ERP system: AccountXpert.

We have performed consulting, training, enterprise architecture and software development projects for a select assortment of clients from a variety of industries, including retail services, mining, broadcasting, publishing and mining and construction services.

What we do each day: We are busy little bees. In the morning we discuss the varying qualities of coffees from the surrounding vendors. In the afternoon we debate what kind of ice creams we should get. Oh, and on Fridays we get hamburgers with the lot (no pineapple) from Chantilly's. In amongst these important events... we produce TVCs, flash presentations, websites, corporate videos and pretty much anything that can be displayed on a screen.

What we do each day: We design world-renowned electronic effects pedals especially made for bass guitar, used by legends such as Bootsy Collins (James Brown, Parliament, ...) and Justin Meldal Johnson (Nine Inch Nails, Beck, Macy Gray, Missy Elliot, ...). Our products are designed here at 35 Buckingham St and manufactured at factory facilities elsewhere in Sydney before shipping out to music shops in Australia and around the world.

The main focus of our business is to offer the services of a team of highly talented photographers, fashion, food & interiors stylists and hair and make up artists.

cloth

cloth fabric: real material for the home

cloth has been making screen printed textiles by hand since 1995. We mainly work with hemp and linen, creating contemporary fabric collections with a strong look and a relaxed natural feel. Our textiles are used for upholstery and soft furnishings in residential and commercial interiors.

cloth is a small independent company with a staff of five. Julie Paterson is the owner and designer, Martine oversees production, Justine manages wholesale and trade and Kate is front of house with Kristen making.

the design process

Julie prototypes and develops all the designs in her beachside workshop in Sydney, beginning the process with drawings and paintings inspired by the local landscape. As a starting point, Julie paints on wood for the design development, some of these paintings are translated into printed prototypes which form the basis for new designs.

The work is produced in short runs by hand in a tin shed in country NSW. This small batch production method is an important part of the distinctive cloth character and allows for a controllable low impact approach to manufacturing and materials.

Our showroom is located at Shop One, 35 Buckingham Street, Surry Hills, Sydney and we are open to trade and public.

From here you can see and buy our fabric and product ranges, Julie's paintings, remnants, one off samples and more.

We are open Monday to Friday 10am - 5.30pm, Thursday open to 6:30pm and Saturday 10am - 3pm.

What we do each day: We go to Phil's for some coffee, come back, make some noise, meet with architects or builders or planners or developers; or if we are really lucky, all four at the same time. Then write some completely awesome reports which makes them come back for more. Our company does work as varied as office refurbs in the CBD, windfarms, opera houses in China, concert halls in Aus, US, France, apartment towers, freeway barriers, you name it, we've probably done it.

What We Do Each Day: Our days are filled with satisfying our client’s needs. We are a multidisciplinary design practice and will gladly accept any design challenge. What we do each day: Every day is different, but a day at Boheem usually involves drinking a lot of tea (we have about 20 different flavours currently in the studio). We spend a lot of time collecting beautiful things, researching and sourcing inspiration so that our clients marketing materials are at the top of their game. More specifically, we are in the business of creative direction, concept development, brand & design strategy, art direction, campaign development, corporate identity, packaging design, environmental design, production, print management and illustration.
